Following the outstanding success of our Richard Thorne Motorsport Aero 8 GT car in the Silverstone 24 hour race in 2006, this year we have entered a fully developed version of the current production Morgan Roadster Lightweight.
With an over 300 bhp 3.0 V6 dry sump engine, bespoke space frame roll cage, disc brakes, endurance suspension and still sub 900 kg weight, this newly developed race car should be thoroughly competitive in it's class.
Richard Thorne Motorsport have been building, developing and supporting Morgan race cars for over 25 years and Richard is very much looking forward to running a Traditional Morgan in a race dominated by modern Porsches and BMW's.
